Metro Police arrested three men Thursday shooting at a home in Hickory Woods East because of a "beef" with someone living there.

According to MNPD, 20-year-old Nesean Brroks, 21-year-old Souripanya Akhom and 21-year-old Jean Carolos Fajardo drove by the home near the Davidson/Rutherford County line and opened fire on the home.

People inside the home saw the dark green SUV the men were in and called police immediately. A Lavergne officer heard the vehicle's description and aw it at the intersection of Waldron Road and Murfreesboro Pike, where two officers attempted to stop the SUV.

Police said the vehicle sped off down Lavergne Couchville Pike, where it crashed into a tree. The three men ran from the car. Brooks was caught first. A K9 officer Cletus and his handler Officer Denton helped search for the other men, tracking a pink shirt, backpack, pistol and cellphone in heavy woods. Akhom was found by the K9 and arrested.

Officers caught Fajardo behind a home on Hamilton Church Road.

Police recovered a 9 mm, semi-automatic pistol that was reported stolen from a burglary at a Murfreesboro home. Officers believe another firearm was tossed out of the SUV when the Lavergne officers attempted to stop it.

South Precinct detectives were told that the gunfire was the result of a “beef” that one of the defendants had with a person who lives in the Hickory Woods East home.

Brooks, Akhom and Fajardo were charged with felony aggravated assault and evading arrest.
