Metro Nashville Police search for carjacking suspects

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police are searching for two men after a driver was carjacked overnight in West Nashville.

According to police, the victim drove up to the intersection of 51st Avenue North and Alabama Avenue when he noticed a dark vehicle stopped.

When the victim pulled beside the vehicle, a white male exited the stopped car and pulled a gun on the victim.

The male took the victim's personal belongings while the second man took the victim's grey STS Cadillac and fled the scene.

The Cadillac was later found facing the wrong way on an exit ramp just west of 51st Avenue North.

The white male suspect is described as being in his early 30's, standing 6'1" and weighing about 215 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt at the time of the carjacking. There is no description on the second suspect.
