Meth, two guns seized in Lebanon traffic stop

Lebanon Police said methamphetamine, two guns and drug paraphernalia were seized in a traffic stop.

It happened along South Hatton Street. A passenger in the vehicle, Michael D. Williams, was arrested.

Police said methamphetamine, a scale, a .40 caliber handgun magazine loaded with ammunition and drug paraphernalia were found in the traffic stop. Police also searched the surrounding area and found a Hi-Point semi automatic handgun.

Police said Williams was also identified as a person of interest in another case involving a similar gun to the Hi-Point.

Williams is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Other charges are pending.
