Man dies after 'severe' stabbing in Nashville public housing complex
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
Metro Nashville Police said a 45-year-old man was found stabbed near a dumpster at the J.C. Napier public housing complex Thursday morning.
According to MNPD, Tremayne Cross died after he was found lying near a dumpster with a severe neck laceration. Police said Cross was living with his girlfriend at the complex.
Police arrived on the scene just after 1:30 a.m. Cross died in surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
