Murfreesboro Police arrested one man Friday in connection with a robbery in Murfreesboro earlier this week and still looking for the second suspect.

Police are still searching for the second suspect in the robbery seen on surveillance video.

Police investigated after a man said he was robbed at gunpoint while sitting on his front porch.

It happened in the 530 block of E. Sevier Street about 2 p.m. Wednesday. The victim told police two black males approached him while he was sitting on his front porch and put a gun to his head.

The victim said he was forced inside his residence and told to lay down on the couch while the two subjects rummaged through the home. The men took the victim’s car keys and rummaged through the vehicle, taking $600 in cash that was above his visor, the victim told police.

The two men then went to a back room where the victim’s girlfriend was and forced her to go through her vehicle. The report says the subjects took both the victim’s and his girlfriend’s cellphones before fleeing the scene.
