Impact for middle Tennessee shifts with latest Hurricane Irma track

The latest tracks for Hurricane Irma has shifted more to the west and the storm's impact on middle Tennessee has updated.

Right now, flooding potential is not a major threat; however, some minor flooding is possible. About 1-3 inches total is expected to fall from Monday night to Thursday morning as the storm weakens to a tropical depression.

Gusty winds remain a potential threat and some could reach 40 to 55 mph. The highest of those strong winds are expected east of Interstate 65.

Irma is expected to return to a Category 4 storm when it makes landfall in Florida in the next 24 hours.
