Girl Scout troop spreads encouragement with handwritten notes at Clarksville Walmart
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A Girl Scout troop handed out handwritten notes and flowers in an effort to uplift others on National Encouragement Day.
Girl Scout Troop 680 took over Walmart in Clarksville on Tuesday to hand out 25 hand-written and drawn notes of encouragement and flowers.
Troop leader Sasha Russell said the scouts handed out notes and flowers to anyone who they felt might need a little encouragement. Russell said receivers were grateful.
“It had a profound effect on many and really tugged our heart strings,” Russell said. “I know my scouts will never forget this experience.”
