Fox Nashville Weekend Watch: Horses, horsepower, hot air balloons and more
The 75th annual Iroquois Steeplechase is happening this Saturday at Percy Warner Park. 25,000 people are expected to attend this signature Nashville event. If you plan on going to Steeplechase, you're going to need the right hat, the right shoes and the right gear. You can pack a picnic, and alcohol is allowed, but no glass. Consider wearing flat shoes, you'll be walking in grass all day. And hold onto your hats, because Fox17 Meteorologist Craig Edwards is predicting a windy day for the races. Iroquois Steeplechase Chairman Dwight Hall tell Fox17 why he thinks people love coming back to this event year after year: "I think it's a tradition. A lot of the families it's the second or third generation of people coming. It's a great day; it's a little bit of something for everybody. It's kind of the first time we get out after the long winter, it's spring ,it's pretty. You can bring you blankets, there's lots of activities, horse racing, its fun to be outside for the day and it's just a great tradition for Nashville."
The Nashville Scene is hosting its 5th annual Margarita Festival on Friday in The Gulch. You can sample more than a dozen margarita recipes and vote for your favorite. The party goes from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Musicians Corner concert series returns to Centennial Cark this weekend with a two-day kickoff party on Friday and Saturday. Every weekend from now though June they will have live music, food trucks and beer vendors at the park.

The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival is on Saturday in Westhaven. They'll have live music and food trucks, but the main event is the hot air balloon glow at sunset. The party goes from 3 to 9. Admission is $15.
You can head to Dragon Park in Hillsboro village on Sunday for the 9th annual Dragon Music Sundays series. This is a free live music event, held every Sunday for the next 4 weeks. The party starts at 4:00 p.m.
And the Grassy Knoll Movie Nights returns to five points this Sunday. So once a month, from now through October, you can head to Bongo Jana on 11th street, for an outdoor movie watching party. Admission is $5 and the movie starts at sunset.
