UPDATE: Serial bank robber strikes again, gets caught
UPDATE: Suspected serial bank robber, 32-year-old Jason Phillip Xenos, is arrested for today's bank robbery. Metro Nashville Police caught up with him in a vehicle at Murfreesboro Pike and Rural Hill Road. They say Xenos is alleged to have robbed three banks in Nashville and one in Smyrna. He is expected to be charged federally on Monday.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Another Nashville bank is robbed.
The Fifth Third bank on the 1300 block of Bell Road became the latest victim on Saturday morning. There have been at least a half-dozen bank robberies in Nashville area since October.
The bank robber reportedly passed a note to the teller and made away with an undisclosed amount of money.
This makes at least the 6th bank robbery in Nashville since October 23, plus one in Smyrna. Metro police are looking for a serial bank robber.
