Family of deadly road rage shooting victim offers $10,000 reward in case

The family of a deadly road rage shooting victim is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of who is responsible.

Christopher J. Sparks, 36, was killed in the shooting along Ed Temple Blvd. on Sept. 28, 2016.

Metro Police said Sparks was involved in a heated argument with the person or persons in a silver Chevy Impala with dark tinted windows. Shots were fired near the intersection of Buchanan Street about 12:30 p.m. In an interview with Fox 17 News, Sparks brother said the shooter left him to die in the street alone.

The suspect vehicle fled east on Buchanan Street after the shooting.

The $10,000 is being offered through June 19, 2018. Nashville Crime Stoppers is also offering a $1,000 reward in the case.

Anyone with information about Spark’s murder, or who may have overheard conversations of persons with knowledge of the case, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous.
