Endangered Child Alert cancelled after 3-year-old boy from East TN found safe
UPDATE: The missing three-year-old has been found safe according to the TBI.
NASHVILLE, TN -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Child Alert for a 3-year-old from East Tennessee.
The TBI tell's Fox 17 Erik Monty, 3, was last seen around 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Morgan County.
Erik is believed to be with a 24 year old white male, who is a recent boyfriend of the child's mother.
In a report released by the TBI the boyfriend was involved a "Domestic Violence incident" with members of the residence then left the residence with the mother and child.
According to the TBI the child’s mother is believed to be suffering a serious medical emergency and in need of medical care.
The boyfriend is believed to be intoxicated, possibly injured, and driving the mother and Erik to the hospital in an older model red Mercedes sedan.
The group has not arrived at the hospital and the child is believed to be in danger.
The group may be in the Morgan, Roane, Anderson, or Knox County area.
