Driver taken away for questioning after crashing into train tracks
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
This morning around 4 a.m Metro Police responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Scott Avenue.
Once on the scene, they discovered one male driver in a silver SUV whose car was severely damaged.
Along with damaging the train tracks the driver also crashed into a utility box. The driver is said to have suffered minor injuries.
Emergency crews have closed the intersection until they can finish cleaning up the tracks and the wrecked SUV was towed away.
Officers placed the driver in the back of a police car and took him away for questioning.
It is unclear what charges if any will be given at this time.
