CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.--The man wanted for a Clarksville shooting last week is now behind bars after fleeing from police but being tracked to an Oak Lane residence.

Quantavious Golliday is being held on two counts of aggravated assault and simple possession for the September 4th shooting of a 28-year-old at Carter Road.

Police say Golliday was in an argument with the man which turned physical and resulted in the victim being shot. On Monday night, an officer making a traffic stop spotted Golliday in the passenger seat. While the officer was approaching the car, the car sped off at a high rate of speed.

Officers were able to track Golliday to an Oak Lane residence where he was arrested and found with drugs in his possession.

Golliday is being held on $170,000 bond.
