Blackman HS students killed in wreck, vigil held
Two people are dead following a vehicle accident this morning in Rutherford County.
Two Blackman High School students reportedly died and two other students injured in the accident on Dilton Mankin Road early Saturday morning, according to a Blackman United Methodist Church tweet. No names of the victims have been officially released.
A vigil is being held Saturday night at the Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro. Another vigil for students will be held at Blackman High School on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. The vigil is open to the public.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is handling the accident.
