Belle Meade police officer fired after allegedly stealing prescription pills from family
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A now former Belle Meade police officer was fired after allegedly stealing prescription pills from a relative.
Donald Lawman, 42, is charged with misdemeanor theft.
The victim reported to police that they witnessed Lawman taking the prescription pills from a medication bottle.
Lawman was terminated on Friday. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
