A-Game Sportsplex sells for $12.2 Million, will reopen this fall

FOX 17 News

A popular sportspex in Williamson County has sold for $12.2 million.

A group of private investors, Tennessee Youth Sports, purchased A-Game Sportsplex in Cool Springs for $12.2 million.

“A-Game has been a centerpiece for youth athletics in Middle Tennessee and the Southeast for many years,” said Roy Dano, a member of TYS, said. “We look forward to once again making this a premier youth sports destination. It will be home to both recreational and world-class athletes from Williamson County and the greater Nashville area.”

The group plans to spend $1 million on improvements to the 174,000 square foot facility. It features a high-end gym, volleyball and basketball courts. The group says it will spend their investment to revamp an ice rink, which was removed in 2016, prompting public outcry from youth hockey advocates.

Improvements are expected to be made immediately and A-Game is slated to open this fall.
