74 pounds of pot, over $71,000 cash seized in bust at Nashville short term rental property
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
Metro Nashville Police said about 74 pounds of marijuana and more than $71,000 was seized from a drug investigation at a short term rental property in the city.
Police said Brue Melmstead, Fred Ferguson and Ricky Ware, all from California, were arrested after the bust at a residence along Tuggle Avenue.
West Precinct detectives said the 74 pounds of marijuana seized has a street value of $250,000, and $71,334 in cash was also seized. Police also found a hand-drawn flow chart that appeared to represent a possible distribution chain.
Malmstead was jailed on a $76,000 bond. Ferguson and Ware had $77,000 bonds each.
