20 pounds of Cocaine, Over $100k found in Donelson Drug Bust
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) ---- —
More than 20 pounds of cocaine was found inside a Donelson home Thursday night.
Metro Police say after a lengthy drug investigation, officers issued a search warrant at a home on Crestline Drive.
Inside the home, officers found 21.5 pounds of cocaine and over $111,000 in cash. Officers also found drug paraphernalia inside the home. The owners of the home, 31-year-old Oscar Anchondo and 21-year-old Daniela Romo, were arrested.
Police say they have enough evidence to believe Anchondo and Romo were running a large cocaine distribution ring, and profiting from the illegal substance.
Both Anchondo and Romo are facing felony drug-related charges this morning.
