19 year old Spring Hill man charged with attempted murder in Burger King shooting

A 19 year old is jailed on a $2 million bond in connection to a shooting at a Burger King in Spring Hill.

Antares C. Heller Garcia, of Spring Hill, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges in the shooting at 4883 Port Royal Road.

Police found a victim inside the restaurant at about 8 p.m. Thursday with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken via LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He's currently listed in stable condition.

Police said both the victim and shooter were Burger King employees.

Police said the shooting happened after an argument between the two and Garcia brandished a gun and fired multiple times.

The shooter fled the scene, but as later apprehended.
