MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - FOX17 is following the money, tracking how hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars were spent in the battle over a local mosque. Rutherford County government tells FOX17 NEWS it spent $343,000 in legal bills to fight efforts to block the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. Tonight, some are questioning that spending. Think about it. Every time County attorneys walked through the doors for one of the mosque trials or hearings, it cost money.
