There are new revelations in a court filing Tuesday by Brandon Vandenburg's defense team. The filing points to new allegations that then-Vandy coach James Franklin and staff members contacted the female victim regarding the June 23 alleged rape.

Paperwork details that Franklin asked the victim to get "some pretty girls" together to help them recruit.

Attorney John Herbison said lots of text messages are missing as well.

Attorneys for the former Commodores player say discovery files included empty DVDs and missing campus surveillance video.

FOX 17 has contacted the district attorney's office, Franklin and the victim's attorney for comment and has not heard back yet.

Vandenburg's legal team is asking for the judge to dismiss the case or reprimand those involved who may have destroyed evidence.
