NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man acts quickly when he realizes he and his work partner are being targeted in a robbery in east Nashville.

The victim, who was working on a house on West Eastland Avenue, made eye contact with 19-year-old Clarence Wright yesterday morning as he was putting on a ski mask, according to the affidavit. Because he was spotted, Wright abandoned the plan.

Metro police picked Wright up off Hart St. near Cleveland St. a short time later. A ski mask and handgun were later discovered in the area of his capture, they say.

Wright allegedly admitted that he and another man were going rob the two Hispanic men and split the proceeds.
