Woman Allegedly Brutally Assaulted for 12 Hours by Boyfriend of 4 Years in S. Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A date night for a woman with her longtime boyfriend turns into an alleged night of brutal violence in south Nashville.
The woman wanted to go home at the end of the date, making her boyfriend, 52-year-old Michael Price, upset, according to the affidavit. He reportedly drove her to his business, Price's Equipment on Ezell Pike, and assaulted her for 12 hours.
The victim reports that from approximately 9 p.m. on June 12 until 9 a.m. the next morning, Price allegedly dragged her from the car, punched and kicked her numerous times, slammed her head against the gravel parking lot and had her clothes ripped off so she couldn't leave. She says that she lost consciousness for 30 minutes during that time, before the assault continued again.
The Metro police officer who took the report from the victim at Southern Hills Hospital. He observed lacerations, cuts, bruises and scratches on the woman.
Price is being held on kidnapping and aggravated assault charges. He is being held on $125,000.
