A Hendersonville man has been charged with animal cruelty in connection with an earlier report of dogs in the city being shot.
Paul S. Corley, age 70, of Hendersonville, was charged Tuesday with two counts of animal cruelty, according to a press release from the city's police department. The charges reference an earlier report of two dogs being shot.
Corley has a court date scheduled in General Sessions Court on June 11 at 9 a.m.
