Davidson County Judges Hold Domestic Violence Meeting

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Nine of Davidson county's 11 general sessions judges were present today for a special called meeting on domestic violence.
This in light of Judge Casey Moreland allowing a domestic violence suspect out of jail before the mandatory cooling off period of 12 hours. Starting September 1st two judges will be assigned to conduct domestic violence court cases.
The last two weeks of July night court commissioners will undergo training.
Judge Bill Higgins who presides over General Sessions court says they will work with the district attorney and mayors's office.
