NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The American Pyrotechnics Association has ranked Nashville as the second-best fireworks show in the nation, just behind New York City.
The APA is the nation's oldest and most recognized trade group and represents the entire fireworks industry.
Nashville received the honor for this year's "Let Freedom Sing" display which will be choreographed to music played by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The fireworks will be set-off from LP Field and is expected to run 27 exciting minutes.
Over 30,000 fireworks and special effects will be launched by the Pyro Shows of Tennessee and it is expected to be the longest show in our city's history. The show will also be the biggest in the South.
Only New York's Macy's 4th of July show will see more action, when they set-off 54,000 fireworks.
