Starbucks App Leaves Customers Vulnerable

If you use the Starbucks mobile app, be on alert.
A research report says the app leaves customers' passwords open to attack. The popular app allows customers to purchase drinks and food directly from their smartphones.
Usernames, passwords and other personal information are saved in plain text. That means a hacker could pick up a phone that's left behind, plug it into a laptop and easily recover a Starbucks customer's password without even knowing the smartphone's pin code.
Starbucks acknowledges the vulnerability, but says so far, no one has been hacked.
