Sunday's (7/13/14) World Cup final between Argentina and Germany has been dubbed the "Pope VS Pope" match on social media.

While Pope Francis of Argentina is an avid soccer fan, Germany's Pope Emeritus Benedict the 16th is better known for his love of classical music.

Either way, a Vatican spokesperson says it's unlikely the popes will be getting together to watch their home teams play.

Around the city, both Argentine and German flags are on display at tourist shops.

And Pope Francis has already given his word there will be no papal intervention in Argentina's fortunes.
