Med school student Elizabeth Raine has become the center of debate surrounding her decision to "auction" off her virginity.
The 27-year-old admits money is her primary motivation and says she has been planning this for over a year after first reading about a woman who auctioned her virginity in 2008 and saw the amount of many people were willing to bid.
Raine says she have received bids over $550,000 and in order to avoid any criminal prostitution charges, the "event" will take place in Australia, where prostitution is legal.
