Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Lawmakers' Seats Beat Out Streets

Putting behinds before roads.


While tax payers have been calling out Michigan lawmakers to get off their seats and fix their busted streets, they've instead chosen to put that money toward furniture at the state capital.


The 110 chairs in question cost one $100,000.


And now tax payers are asking, ehat the heck is wrong with the ones there now?


The House Business Manager says after 24 years, they're simply too old.


The business manager says he has a responsibility to preserve the capitol building, and in the long run, taxpayers are actually saving money by purchasing the chairs now rather than later.


Saying that costs will most certainly go up in the future.
