An update on a Mississippi girl who was asked to leave a Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant because of her facial scars. She is now getting medical help.
Victoria Wilcher's story tugged at the heartstrings of a surgeon from across the country who wants to do all he can to help the little girl.
Dr. Stile is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He specializes in minimizing scars on professional fighters and he wants to offer his services to the little girl for free. He met with her and her family this weekend in Mississippi.
Dr. Stile isn't the only one pitching in. He's placed Victoria's picture and story on his foundation's website and he says the contributions are overflowing.
Prosethetician, Raymond Peter, is donating a prosthetic eye for her.
The plan is to get Victoria to Florida for her new eye within the next week or two. Down the line, Dr. Stile will likely perform cosmetic procedures on her and monitor facial motor sensory loss.
