Sparking debate this mornin, a North Dakota woman won't be handing out sweet treats to every child this Halloween.
Instead, she's taking the fight against childhood obesity into her own hands with a letter she plans to hand out to kids she believes are quote "moderately obese."
She says she just wants to send a message to parents of kids that are overweight... calling them irresponsible for sending them out to get free candy, just because other kids are doing it.
Clinical Psychology Doctor Katie Gordon, who studies eating disorders, says kids and teens are very conscious of fitting in with peers.
She thinks the letter may do more harm than actually help kids.
