While lawmakers in Washington debate increasing the minimum wage,  one company is taking the lead and doing so without a federal mandate.
The Gap is voluntarily increasing its minimum to $10 an hour.
65 thousand of Gaps employees will benefit at its Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta stores.

Many of you have plans to travel spring break.
If you're driving,  consider an independent car rental company like Fox Rent a Car or Payless.  These have less overhead, so they charge you less.  You can find these cars on sites like  www.carrentals.com and www.carrentalexpress.com.  They'll charge you 15 to 30% less than the big national chains.
Don't forget to track the lowest rental rates at sites like www.autoslash.com.

Finally, want gun safety lessons for free?
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is offering a shooting and safety course.  It starts March 4th and is for gun owners who are new to handgun shooting.  Here's a link to the site with times, dates  and more information:   http://www.williamsoncounty-tn.gov/index.aspx?NID=1423
