The average student spends $12 hundred dollars on college textbooks.
One option is to buy used books.  Another frugal alternative is to rent your books.
Many campus bookstores rent books now and so do online companies.
Just google "rent textbooks" for some options.

Keeping with college students heading off to school, Wallethub is out with its best online student friendly checking accounts.
It rates Amerca Net Rewards checking and Evantage checking best overall.
Both have no monthly fees, no out of network ATM fees and other perks.
BofI Federal Checking is best for cash strapped students because there's no deposit requirement.
