As FOX17 National Correspondent Kristine Frazao shows us, this follows a new report that finds 100 million Americans are about to lose their current insurance. As well documented as many of the problems are with Obamacare, Americans for Prosperity, a political group, says people across the country still need to know the Affordable Care Act is not working well, and it's not working for everyone. One tv spot is now airing in North Carolina, with similar ones running in Florida, Louisiana, Alaska and Arizona.
Millions will find themselves on the healthcare insurance merry go round with nothing merry about it. According to the American Enterprise Institute, as many as 100 million people are likely to lose employer sponsored health care coverage over the next couple of years. That's because AEI found that as many as half of the healthcare plans offered by small businesses won't meet the standards of Obamacare. Vincent DeMarco is a healthcare policy expert and he believes the law will work for everyone over time. The Massachusetts statewide healthcare initiative did not have anywhere near the roll out problems plaguing Obamacare.
There was no bungled website or insurance policies canceled by the millions. A new Rasmussen Poll finds that 58% of voters don't hold a favorable opinion of Obamacare and more than 61% now expect costs to rise under it.
These ads are set to run in states where mid-term Congressional elections are expected to be close.
