NASHVILLE, TN - - The Grascals have been a staple in Bluegrass for almost a decade. The six piece toe tappin band is certainly known for having those super star collaborations. "We have always had friends in country music from Dolly, to Brooks and Dunn and Hank Junior. We have a lot of friends in the Country music world."
For their 8th studio album "When I Get My Pay" - The Grascals certainly didn't disappoint. Dierks Bentley joins them for the song "American Pickers". "Dierks has always been a friend of the band. Terry used to sing with a band at The Station Inn and when Dierks came to town he credits Terry for getting him singign because he used to watch Terry all the time."
The idea for the song came from their love of the hit show of the same name! "Our lead singer was doing a charity event and met Mike there and he said man we love your show and said do you have a theme song - completnely knowing they didn't" laughs the band.
Just one week away from the album release, The Grasals are celebrating with friends at American Pickers Nashville store "Antique Archeology".
Band members say they are excited for fans to hear "When I Get My Pay". They say the album is a good mix and a represenation of who they are, 10 years after the first time they stepped on stage. "After 8 albums you would think you would get tired of it, but with each one we are just as excited and think it's the best one yet!
The Grascals have recently welcomed a new fiddle player - welcome to the band Adam Haynes!
