FOX Nashville Weekend Watch: Sheryl Crow in Franklin, Father's Day Fun and More
This weekend at the Factory in Franklin you can check out the City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair. The preview party is Friday night from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, featuring wine and live music. On Saturday the show goes from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can shop for antiques, crafts, and some one of a kind items made from quilts donated by Sheryl Crow. Crow tells Fox17's Caroline Pickens, "They took these quilts and they repurposed them with leather from other repurposed bags, or bags that weren't being used, and they're just so cute." City Farmhouse owner Kim Leggett hand-picked the 75 vendors from more than 1,000 applicants, so you'll find the best of the best when it comes to antiques, vintage, and handcrafted items. Leggett says, "They bring things you don't typically find in our area. So, you'll see a lot of new things, re-purposing is huge, antiques, vintage, you name it, there is something for everyone: jewelry, art, even clothing, handmade clothing, so it's an exciting time." The fair takes up two showrooms at the factory, plus the courtyard. And if you work up an appetite from all that shopping, they'll have food trucks on location.
