2018-2019 School Changes
A few schools have hired new principals and they posted their "Welcome Back" messages on the school's website to introduce themselves.
- Antioch High School: Clarissa Zellars
- Hillwood High School: Dr. Stephen Sheaffer
- Apollo Middle School: Stephanie Adams
- Haynes Middle School: Dr. Robin Allen
- Oliver Middle School: Dr. Erin Anderson
- Rose Park Middle School: Rommie Vasser (previously interim)
More Principals will continue to post these messages as the summer continues.
In the past, Metro Schools have been able to offer students lunch with no cost because of their participation with the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). This year MNPS are not able to offer this to all students at all schools because the poverty rate in Tennessee has dropped from 60% to 50% in the last four years. Click here to find out which schools are still eligible for the program. Despite the changes made with the lunches, all schools will continue to serve free breakfast to all students in all schools.
